After multiple release date changes, Black Widow is finally hitting the screens this July. In anticipation of the upcoming film, Marvel Studios has released new character posters providing a clearer look at the cast.
In the film, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the dark parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. The film is directed by Cate Shortland and stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, David Harbour, and O.T. Fagbenle.
Black Widow will be Marvel Studios’ first film for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, premiering in cinemas and Disney+ this July 9. Later this year, the studio will also be releasing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Eternals, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
