Warner Bros. has released new footage from their upcoming film The Batman which stars Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, giving viewers a fresh new glimpse at the character.
The footage was released as part of Catwoman: The Feline Femme Fatale, a short documentary delving into the character of Selina Kyle and celebrating 80 years since her creation. The clip features The Batman director Matt Reeves explaining why the Selina Kyle we see in the film is yet to become Catwoman. It then cuts to scenes of Selina riding a motorcycle, petting a black cat, committing a heist, and even fighting Batman. Watch the clip below (timestamp: 35:26 to 36:29).
The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrel as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Peter Sarsgaard as District Attorney Gil Colson. Directed by Matt Reeves and written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, the film is set to premiere on March 4, 2022.
