Finally, after a very long wait, the newest Pokemon game, Pokémon Unite will be released on Nintendo Switch this July 21 and mobile devices in September 2021!

Announced in 2020, Pokemon Unite is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game, a 5 vs 5 strategic team battle. Players must unite as a team to defeat their opponents by scoring more points than the other before the time runs out.

Pokémon Unite will also introduce the Aeos energy, a mysterious energy unique on Aeos Island, the location where the game is set. Players can collect Aeos energy and use it to evolve their Pokémon.

Like other MOBA games, Pokémon Unite is a free-to-play game but will include virtual currencies called Aeon gems and a Season Pass so that players can earn more rewards. Another good thing with this game is that players who will play via Nintendo Switch can also play with those who are using mobile devices through cross-play!

Good news also for those who are using a Pokémon Trainer account because they can use it on the game to save their progress and sync it to other devices! This game is really promising, right?
