The Spider-Man: No Way Home Lego set has been released, featuring what fans believe are hints as to what’s in store for our favorite web-slinging hero in the movie.
The film tie-in Lego set features Spider-Man in a new costume, Mary Jane Watson, Doctor Strange and Wong. Early rumors of Doctor Strange being in No Way Home are given more weight now that both him and Wong are included in the film’s tie-in Lego set. The Sanctum Sanctorum, which in comic book canon contains the greatest concentration of mystic energy, serves as the backdrop of this playset, which may be a hint to its significance in the upcoming film.
Both the presence of dimension-hopping hero Doctor Strange and his mystical mansion fueled the speculation about a multiverse of alternate Spider-Man characters (including the versions previously portrayed by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield), which may be revealed in the next film installment of the Spider-Man franchise.
Another important detail seen in the Lego set is the new sleek Spider-Man costume. The addition of gold plating and gauntlets on the classic red suit could be inspired by the red and gold theme of the Ironman suit. It could also be a final gift from Tony Stark or maybe a tribute to the fallen Avenger.
Whatever the case may be, all our speculations will soon be put to rest as Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021. For more information on the Spider-Man No Way Home Lego set, click here.
