After a year of waiting, fans are eager for Marvel’s Eternals as it is now gearing up for its theatrical release this November. Lucky fans and critics are now sharing their reactions after being granted early screenings of the much-awaited superhero movie.
Directed by Chloe Zhao, who recently won Best Director and Best Picture for Nomadland at the Oscars, Eternals is already shaping up to become one of the better received titles from the Marvel Cinematic Universe based on the reactions dropping on social media.
Take a look at what the Twitter world had to say following the movie’s premiere.
This is why I love Marvel so much.❤️
Last night at the #Eternals premiere there were dozens of hearing impaired guests that were invited on behalf of Marvel to experience the movie & see themselves be represented on the big screen. This made me love Makkari so much more. pic.twitter.com/TYv7GN2kHw

I absolutely ADORED ETERNALS, but I recognize it’s not everyone’s cup of Marvel tea. This might not make a whole lot of sense…but ETERNALS is the movie Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS wishes it was.

The visuals are absolutely breathtaking with stunning action! #Eternals not only introduces a ton of new characters, but manages to get you invested in every single one. The entire cast is absolutely fantastic! #Eternals is a game changer for the MCU in more ways than one! pic.twitter.com/C4qDnnP8M5

#Eternals really surprised me in ways, delighted me, and also made me tear up at one point, so get ready to go through a variety of feelings. And then the credits signal some more VERY exciting Marvel adventures ahead.

#Eternals is a total blast. A lot of material to cover but it is handled well. Can’t wait for people to see it. Of all the end credit scenes I’ve watched during a premiere, I’ve never heard the audience lose their minds as much as they did for this one. #eternalspremiere pic.twitter.com/LXxZXY8P1f

#Eternals , wow! A lot to unpack. If Marvel movies are a Venn diagram — variations within that overlap — this movie is off the charts. Hands down the most different of any of their films.

The stellar cast of Marvel’s Eternals stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Angelina Jolie, and Kit Harington and is directed by Oscar winning Chinese director Chloé Zhao. The film follows the immortal alien race known as the “Eternals” who reunite to protect humanity from “Deviants” or the Changing People – parasitic predators set to destroy the Earth.
Marvel’s Eternals is set to open in theaters this November 5, 2021.
