The announcement comes after the members shared a cryptic photo of the band’s logo – a backwards “E” – around the same time.
Eraserheads is a Filipino rock band formed in 1989. They are regarded as one of the most prominent OPM bands, having performed for over a decade before they disband in 2002.
They held a reunion concert in 2008, but it was cut short when Buendia was rushed to the hospital for chest pains. A year later, in March 2009, the gang reunited onstage at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds for their reunion concert “The Final Set.”
Eraserheads is the band behind the classics “Ang Huling El Bimbo,” “Magasin,” “Alapaap,” “Fruitcake,” “Ligaya” and “Pare Ko.”
Additional information for the concert such as ticket prices and selling dates is yet to be released.
