After years of fans lobbying to see his return as the Man of Steel, Henry Cavill has finally confirmed that he will don the cape again as Superman for DC.
Cavill shared the news on his social media, following his surprise cameo in the post-credits scene of “Black Adam”, the DC superhero movie starring Dwayne Johnson.

“I wanted to wait until the weekend was over before posting this because I wanted to give you all a chance to watch ‘Black Adam. But now that plenty of you have, I wanted to make it official: I am back as Superman,” Cavill said.
“Thank you for your support and thank you for your patience”.
Cavill hasn’t confirmed yet if his Superman will return soon in another stand-alone project or another DC film, but he promised that “it will be rewarded.”
