After the seven-member K-pop group announced their hiatus at their ninth anniversary FESTA dinner, the boys have gone on to do solo projects and complete the mandatory military service in Korea.

Despite such activities, RM assures fans in a Weverse livestream with bandmate Suga, “We’ll be joining together again. And that will be in 2025.” They also talked about how their branching out to different projects was like a vacation.

They’re important to the new chapter that BTS members RM, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, V, Jimin and Jungkook need to embark on to come back stronger and better together. As RM describes it, “I always thought that BTS was different from other groups, but the problem with K-pop and the whole idol system is that they don’t give you time to mature.”

J-hope also adds that he hopes the hiatus is not seen in a negative light but as a healthy plan. He thinks that the time they should spend apart would be a learning experience to learn how to be one again.

Hence, the BTS ARMY has to wait two more years before the seven come back and perform together again. Are you excited to see them come back in 2025?
