One of the biggest cliffhangers in cinema this year is the ending of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”, which without spoiling, ended just as when we thought the film is taking off.
To many, waiting for the film’s upcoming sequel “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse” has been nothing but grueling. It was originally set for a release this early 2024 before being delayed indefinitely by Columbia Pictures. But now, we got the scoop of when the much-awaited film is coming.
According to Spider-Verse writer and producer Phil Lord and Christopher Miller in an interview with Digital Spy, “Beyond the Spider-Verse” will eventually be shown “when it’s ready”.
This is no surprise as “Across the Spider-Verse” took years to animate, to the point where animators had to bring their works at home at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic just to complete the project in time. With the film’s stunning animated work, everyone’s eyes are on “Beyond the Spider-Verse” to match this – if not, improve upon it.
