VITM 2023 “Eco-tourism in the Mekong Delta” to take place in December

The Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) will end the year on a strong note as it makes its comeback on December 1 to 3 in Cần Thơ City, Mekong Delta.

The VITM is the leading travel trade fair in Vietnam where groups, organizations and businesses from the different regions of Vietnam and around the world can promote their localities and specialties. Visitors can also expand their network through socializing and by attending specialized seminars and forums by various experts about eco-tourism. This much-awaited event invites people from all over the country to visit the fair, source specialized products and make connections with vendors, locals and tourists.

With the them “Eco-tourism in the Mekong Delta,” this VITM is set to promote the diverse and enchanting resources available uniquely in the Mekong Delta region, as well as showcase the venue’s unique landscape.

Cần Thơ, Mekong Delta is the perfect place to select as a venue to promote eco-tourism with its unique waterway features covering the land, making it a fertile source of local produce. It also hosts the Cái Răng floating market where dozens of boats gather daily to sell local specialties like dried fish, coconut candy, fish sauce and many more.

The VITM is expected to host more than 300 booths from 40 provinces across Vietnam, as well as foreign booths from 10 countries and territories nationwide.

The last VITM was held in Hanoi, Vietnam in April 2023 and attracted thousands of visitors from all over the globe.

This year, the VITM in Cần Thơ City is expecting to attract more than 20,000 visitors.
