Southeast Asian competitors show their fighting spirit at the 19th Asian Games

As the 19th Asian Games draw to a close, we are reminded of the importance of fostering peace and dialogue with each other through common bonds like friendly sporting competitions, to prove our mutual strength and sportsmanship with our fellow Asian communities.

45 countries competed in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, with a total of 12,000 athletes participating in 481 events that spanned 15 days. Out of the 11 countries situated in Southeast Asia, 10 participated in the games and made our region proud by winning medals from various events. Let’s get to know them below.
