A New Haven For Color: Come and see Vietnam’s Largest Watercolor Exhibit

Do you want to witness an enthralling and mesmerizing array of talent and culture? The Temple of Literature in Hanoi is set to become the location of the largest international watercolor exhibit in the history of Vietnam.

Following the theme of “Colors of Cultures”, art enthusiasts can see over 465 watercolor paintings from a selection of 60 international and local painters at the Vietnam Acquarello 2024. The exhibit will run from March 15 to 26, with some of the selections set to be featured in a future exhibition that will take place in Poland in 2025.

The exhibition also features a special section called “Poland’s Corner” which highlights the works of Polish artists. And from March 15 to 21, students and artists from Vietnam also have the opportunity of partaking in a demo and workshop titled “Reflections on Cultural Heritage: Watercolor Workshop with Polish Masters,” where experienced Polish painters share their experiences and techniques.

Foreign painters will also be able to participate in a painting tour of the cities of Hanoi and Ninh Binh to capture, admire, and illustrate the culture of Vietnam and its people.

This ambitious and groundbreaking exhibition is being organized by VietnamInAcquarello of the International Watercolor Museum from Italy, with the goal of showcasing and elevating the watercolor scene in Vietnam and strengthening the cultural connection between Poland and Vietnam.
