Disney kids, Disney adults, and everyone else in between—have we got some news for you! The Disney Cruise Line has revealed the latest addition to its fleet: the Disney Adventure!

Originally announced in 2023 through a partnership between Disney Cruise Line and the Singapore Tourism Board, the vessel is expected to set sail in 2025 and will be based exclusively in the city-state until 2030, with voyages planned for other parts of the region.

Disney Cruise Line recently unveiled a first look at the new vessel, showing an artist’s rendering of the bow with the facade adorned with intricate designs and an image of Sea Captain Mickey Mouse. “The new Disney cruise ship will be an attraction itself and is expected to boost the tourism sector in Singapore for many years to come,” shared Disney Parks, Experiences and Products chairman Josh D’Amaro.

Aptly named to evoke the spirit of exploration, the Disney Adventure will take families on a journey across the different corners of the Disney universe—so whether you’re a fan of Disney, Pixar or Marvel stories, the cruise will definitely have something for you.

As construction continues at the MV Werften shipyard in Wismar, Germany, the 208,000 gross-ton ship is set to be the largest cruise ship homeported in Singapore, with an estimated 6,000 passenger capacity and 2,300 crew members. The ship will also be one of the first to be powered by green methanol, one of the lowest-emission fuels in the market.
