The Philippines is hosting the Round Music Festival for the first time.
A project between South Korean broadcaster KBS World and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Round aims to connect the hearts and minds of music lovers using popular music, crossing boundaries between cultures and language. The first edition of the festival was held in 2020 through a virtual event, with its first in-person edition being held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2023, followed by Vientiane, Laos in 2024, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2025.
This 2026, Filipino, Southeast Asian, and Korean artists are uniting for a diverse musical tapestry and the largest festival lineup since Round’s inception. Twenty artists are set to take the stage, including Ben&Ben, TJ Monterde, Cup of Joe, and HORI7ON from the Philippines, as well as 10CM and MeloMance from South Korea, Syafiq Abdilah from Brunei, G-Devith from Cambodia, Pamungkas from Indonesia, JoJo Miracle from Laos, MIMIFLY from Malaysia, Velocity from Myanmar, Regina Song from Singapore, Tilly Birds from Thailand, and Chillies from Vietnam. All these artists are converging at the Araneta Coliseum to give fans a one-of-a-kind celebration of culture and music.
“This is a very special ‘homecoming’ for us, because the very first ROUND in 2020 was originally supposed to be held right here in the Philippines,” Director Lee Hansol of KBS WORLD TV remarked. “We had to wait six years because of the pandemic, but that wait only makes this moment more meaningful.”
