As Lunar New Year comes around once again, the Tet Book Fair returns during the special holiday. With the theme Xuan Hoi Tu – Vung Buoc Vuon Mình (Spring Gathering – Rising Strong and Steady), the fair aims to create a cultural space for both locals and visitors alike.
Major publishers like Trẻ Publishing House, Phương Nam Books, and HCM City General Publishing House are participating in showcasing books from across various genres and topics, making for a highly anticipated event.
There will also be a showcase of documents from the 50th anniversary of the renaming of Sài Gòn – Gia Định and the 80th anniversary of Việt Nam’s first General Election. The Ho Chi Minh Journalists Association also has over 100 special publications to welcome Tet from various magazines and publications.
Outside of books, documents and special publications, writers or writing enthusiasts can also join workshops and talks during the event, with kid zones for families and cafe set ups for visitors who want to relax and take refreshing drinks.
