Calling all Thai cinephiles! Wednesday Shine Cinema is holding an Oscar Film Festival this March!
The micro movie theater is holding the event in collaboration with Doc Club & Pub and Film Culture Promotion Association to bring films that are international Academy winners or nominees to the big screen.
The program includes Sirat, Cutting Through Rocks, No Other Land, Drive My Car, Aftersun, Citizenfour, Once, and Amores Perros. Each film has been praised for their storytelling, artistic depth, and award-winning performances, all being Oscar-worthy in their own right.
The program schedule starts with Citizenfour on March 10 and 26; Once and No Other Land on March 11; Sirat on March 13 and 24; Aftersun on March 17 and 19; Amores Perros on March 18; and Drive My Car on March 25. Ticket prices start at 90 baht (USD 2.81) and differ for students at 60 baht (USD 1.87).
