Gamers get ready! The director’s cut of Ghost of Tsushima is set to be released on August 20. The hit game brought to us by Sony and Sucker Punch is getting expanded for both PS4 and PS5 with a new island, story content, characters armor, environments and so much more.

“In this new story, Jin travels to the island to investigate rumors of a Mongol presence. But soon, he finds himself caught up in events with deeply personal stakes that will force him to relive some traumatic moments from his past,” said Andrew Goldfarb, communications manager of Sucker Punch Productions, in a blog post.

The PS5 version will come with added features like Japanese lip-synced voices, haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for the DualSense controller.

“There will also be enhancements to 3D audio on PS5, as well as drastically improved load times, 4K resolution options and framerates targeting 60 FPS” Goldfarb added.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be sold at $69.99 for the PS5 and $59.99 for the PS4. Those who already own the original samurai game on PS4 can pre-order the Director’s Cut as an upgrade for $19.99 and can be upgraded to the Director’s Cut PS5 any time they want for $9.99. The new cut can also be upgraded directly from the original PS4 game to the PS5 Director’s Cut for $29.99.
