Bakeaway Cakes and Treats bakes soft, light, and freshly baked puto or steamed rice cakes with a small slice of cheese in the middle. The home bakery based in Marikina City made waves online for their unique puto design inspired by K-pop group BTS.

Their BTS-themed puto art shows the BTS members’ animated avatars called BT21 – V as Tata, a shape-shifting alien; Suga as Shooky, a mischievous cookie; Jungkook as Cooky, a tough bunny; RM as Koya, a sleepy koala; Jin as RJ, a kind alpaca; and J-Hope as Mang, a mysterious being wearing a horse-face.
Bakeway’s puto art is available at 15 pesos per mini piece, with a minimum order of 30 pieces. The bakery also does customized puto art, other staple kakanin or rice cakes, bread, pastries and more! Visit their Instagram page to order.
