It all started with the big bang and it ends with season 7. As sad as it is, we have to brace ourselves for the conclusion of the long-running series Young Sheldon as it airs its final season on February 15, 2024.

Young Sheldon premiered in 2017 and follows the early life of Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) as he grows up as a child prodigy in the fictional town of Medford, Texas. In the six seasons that it has been on air, Young Sheldon has been recognized with awards and nominations by multiple award-giving bodies including the Critics’ Choice Television Awards, The Golden Reel Awards and the National Television Awards.

According to CBS, the Big Bang Theory spin-off series is already nearing the original series’ storyline after six seasons, and so it inevitably has to reach its conclusion with season 7.

Young Sheldon actor Iain Armitage shared his thoughts about the final season on an Instagram post, saying “We will make the best 7th season we can possibly make – and behind the scenes there will be lots of laughter and lots of tears because I love all of these people so much.”
