One of Vietnam’s highly anticipated design festivals is opening in Ha Noi this year, and in anticipation of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival happening in November, the organizers are holding a Creative Meetup from January 10 to 11 for creatives and designers in the country.
The Hanoi Creative Design Festival is a cultural event that blends community, creativity, and heritage together. This initiative comes after Ha Noi has been declared one of UNESCO’s Creative Sites, with the goal of revitalizing cultural practices while showcasing Vietnam’s artists and their strong identity.
This year, Ha Noi is starting the initiative as early as January with the Creative Meetup at the Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Bat Giac House, and other public spaces and walking streets in the Hoan Kiem Lake area. Around 200 participants are set to join the series of activities to strengthen collaboration in the community and serve as an introduction to practical models that will help Ha Noi’s cultural industries grow and thrive.
The Creative Meetups will have an opening ceremony on January 10, followed by a creative forum, exhibits, market-like promotion of cultural industry products, and community art performances.
