Malaysian Tamers, it’s time for a digivolution!
Digimon is commemorating the 25th anniversary of the anime series, bringing together fans and enthusiasts for a month-long celebration and exhibition. With the theme “Return to the Digital World,” the event aims to relive the landmark 25-year history of the beloved anime series.
Digimon first debuted as a digital pet game in 1997, which spawned an anime series in 1999, following a group of children who are transported into an alternate digital world. These children are paired with unique digital monsters or Digimon, and are equipped with a Digivice to help their partners evolve into stronger forms to fight evil and to save both the digital and real world.

Everything about the exhibit revolves around the history of the franchise, including displays with fan-favorite Digimon and DigiDestined characters. The exhibit also includes original production artefacts like prototypes of Digivices, a replica of Izumi Kōshirō’s laptop, early sketches and conceptual artwork. There are also life-sized canvases that capture key moments in the anime, perfect for taking photos with. Visitors can also purchase merchandise at the retail store, including a free exhibition poster.
Grab your fellow tamers and visit Incubase Arena Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur until March 23 for this Digi-tastic celebration!
