Return to Hogwarts with a live concert alongside a film viewing! This first half of the year, various orchestras are performing the iconic film score and soundtrack of Harry Potter in Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
Known as one of the best-selling franchises all-time, Harry Potter has captured the hearts of people all over the world with 7 books and 8 films, placing witches and wizards at the forefront of everyone’s imaginations, along with launching the careers of actors like Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, and bringing to life the magical world of Hogwarts.
From March to June, fans of the franchise can experience the magic of the film series, with live performances of the musical scores alongside screenings of the movies. Check out the list of film concerts below.
The Magical Music Of Harry Potter – Live In Concert (Singapore)
This coming March, Singapore is getting a performance by the Magical Film Orchestra & Choir, with music from John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper, and Alexandre Desplat at The Magical Music of Harry Potter – Live in Concert. The concert will feature iconic scenes and musical scores from various Harry Potter films, along with a special appearance from a Weasley guest star from the films.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert (Malaysia)
Next stop is Malaysia with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’s soundtrack performed by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. Audiences will get to relive Harry and friends returning to Hogwarts for their third year, meeting Sirius Black, the misery of the Dementors and the mystery of the Time-Turner, and everything in between. All this will be happening as the film plays on a large HD screen, while conductor Gerard Salonga leads the orchestra in the background.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in Concert (The Philippines)
Last, but not the least, Film Concerts PH presents Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire film concert. The 92-piece Filharmonika Orchestra will be conducted by Gerard Salonga this June. Like in Malaysia, audiences will be treated to the live film screening of Harry Potter, this time following Harry’s fourth-year and the return of the Triwizard Tournament.
