Change the world starting with Beer! People Festival returns for its sixth edition this March.

The festival was created with the goal of connecting people across the country through a common beverage—beer! The alcoholic drink was incredibly expensive because of the high excise tax that the government implemented, both to stop consumption and the export price of ingredients. The year 2020 came around and the first Beer People’s Fair happened, where a multitude of brewers, drinkers, and sellers came together, with 50 brands of homemade beer offering 100 flavors from all over the country. Since then, the organizers have been advocating to lower the tax on the beverage and holding the festival annually.

This year, over 1,000 beer flavors from all over the world are expected to turn up at the festival. The organizers released a directory for participants that includes seven spots where people can enjoy a variety of activities: the Caffeine Zone has specialty coffee and matcha to fuel visitors throughout the day; the Underground Stage has live music and unconventional performance art; the Election Stage is where visitors will find brands vying for this year’s People Awards at the festival; the Kong Stage houses authentic Molam, live bands, and “Tipsy Talk” sessions where storytellers meet; the Liberation Hall is a cocktail bar accompanied by the tunes from high energy DJs; the Merch Booth is a spot where visitors can grab exclusive items and limited-edition merch from People Festival 2026; and the Launchpad Alley is where new wave brewers and NGO networks to showcase products made from the heart and exchange ideas for social change.
