F4 Members Reunite for World Tour

Do you remember the giddy feeling of turning on your television and seeing Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu, and Ken Chu portraying the F4? Get ready for a trip down memory lane because the group is coming back together for the F💎Forever: 1st World Tour.

In 2001, the four singers and actors starred in the Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden as four rich students who ruled their university with an iron fist. But when a new student Shan Cai (Barbie Hsu) enters the picture, the boys are challenged in a way that changes their perspectives in life.

Riding the success of their series, F4 was formed as a real life counterpart to their fictional group, with the boy band releasing several albums and headlining concerts around the world. The group disbanded in 2009 and reunited in 2013 on the Jiangsu TV’s Spring Festival special, and again just last year during the concert of Taiwanese band, Mayday.

While rumors started to circulate after the performance that the group is coming back together for a tour,  music label B’in Music has since confirmed the tour, announcing it through an Instagram video showing the dates of the country stops.

The highly anticipated tour kicked off last year with three out of the four F4 members: Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu and Vic Chou, joined by Mayday singer Ashin. Sadly, Ken Chou will not be participating in the tour due to conflict with the organizers.

“We’ve already done more than 10 shows and we’re still making adjustments because we want it to be perfect. So many people, so much time invested and even this late at night, we’re still here. All of this is to give everyone the best,” shared Ashin in the same Instagram video announcement.

The tour is set to start Chongqing from April 10 to 12, followed by Jakarta on May 29 to 30. Manila, Bangkok, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur are also on the list with dates to be announced.
