Missing the wonder and thrill from the Hunger Games franchise? Don’t worry, the official YouTube page of the films is currently holding a 7-day live stream of all four films from the original quadrilogy!
Based on the dystopian sci-fi novels by Suzanne Collins, the Hunger Games films revolve around themes of survival, social inequality, and the dangers of authoritarian power. The films follow Katniss Everdeen as she fights through the Hunger Games—a survival of the fittest competition where children from the 12 Districts of Panem are pitted against each other for the entertainment of the masses and to curb dissent. The film franchise broke box office records, with the first installment having the biggest opening day and weekend for a non-sequel film in 2012, the second having the biggest opening weekend in 2013, and the third having the biggest opening day and weekend of all-time in 2014.
While waiting for news about the next addition to the franchise, Sunrise on the Reaping, the official Hunger Games YouTube page is holding a seven-day livestream event of all four films. Just last month, the channel released a look back on the rise of Cornelius Snow across the films, including clips from The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
Catch the free livestream of the first four Hunger Games films on YouTube until April 14!
