The Drama is now in Southeast Asian cinemas, starring two-time Emmy Award winner Zendaya and acclaimed actor Robert Pattinson in a bold romantic dark comedy from director Kristoffer Borgli (Sick of Myself, Dream Scenario).
A happily engaged couple is put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails. The Drama follows British expat and museum curator Charlie Thompson (Robert Pattinson) and literary editor Emma Harwood (Zendaya), who meet in a Cambridge café and quickly fall into a whirlwind romance. What begins as a picture-perfect love story takes an unexpected turn when a single, game-changing confession surfaces during a drunken round of “What’s the Worst Thing You’ve Ever Done? ” — a seemingly harmless exchange among friends Rachel (Alana Haim) and Mike (Mamoudou Athie) that fractures the illusion of Charlie and Emma’s relationship, sending the couple into a spiral of doubt, tension, and emotional reckoning just before their “I dos,” as The Drama unravels the delicate reality and balance between truth, perception, and love.

“You think you know someone, and they can say literally one sentence that maybe they don’t even realize they are saying,” says Pattinson. “Suddenly everything has changed, and you can’t put the genie back in the bottle.” In “The Drama,” that single moment becomes the catalyst for a deeper exploration of trust, morality, and the fragile foundation of relationships.
